This Weekend

This weekend we found out we are officially DTC which just means, everything is finally on the way to China.

This weekend, Hanan learned about Italy so that next weekend she can teach other little girls about Italy.

This weekend, we made noodles and sort of made dumplings for Chinese New Year. We invited some friends to join us. The girls made some Cherry Blossom trees. Arleigh got ready for the party by researching on the internet and making everyone their own Chinese Lantern. They were really cute. She gave them away before I got to take a picture.

This weekend would lead to a Monday of disappointment because I left the camera in the drawer too often.

This weekend we made too much chili and invited a couple of families over last minute to watch the Super Bowl.

This weekend was full of food, family and friends. I wouldn't have it any other way.

This weekend, we heart attacked the kitchen. It's an idea I borrowed stole from another blogger.  We cut out hearts and write why we love and appreciate other members of our family. This weekend, I was hoping for a little positive because sisterly love hasn't been overflowing around here lately.

This weekend wasn't all good but I really hope that my kids remember more good that bad.

This Monday, I think that's all I have to say about that.

I am excited that everything is on the way! It is a step forward, right?! Yay! Oh, and I want to see this heart attacked kitchen!

Sounds like a pretty decent weekend. Cherry Blossom trees for Chinese New Year? I should have done that with my first graders.
