Full House

Saturday night we went out to see Spinning Into Butter. It's a play that was being directed by a friend of ours. It was fabulous. If you are in our area, you should go see it. We had a great night. We went with about 14 other friends to dinner and then off to the show.

Arleigh was at her first real slumber party that wasn't hosted by us. I was a little nervous. I didn't think I would get that 1 a.m. phone call asking us to get her. I was a little nervous about the behavior of some of the other girls. They can be a little catty. I know from experience that an overnight stay can amplify the naughty in a little girl. She did great. There were a few stories the next day but I'll refrain from posting them. Let's just say I want the guilty parties to remain anonymous. I think it will be a while before the Supers decide to host another party.

Hanan was so very nervous about Arleigh not being at home. For as long as they can remember, they have shared a bedroom. Hanan was pretty upset. Lucky for Hanan, Virginia Madeleine, Charles, Sylvia, Naomi and Judah were all here. It was a Full House. At some point in the night, Hanan, Virginia and Madeleine decided to go to bed. Sylvia was alseep in a pack in play in our room. Bria was asleep in her room. Charles was asleep in the babysitter's arms. Naomi and Judah were bright eyed and bushy tailed watching a movie when we rolled in at nearly 11.

Here's a picture of the girls asleep. I have no idea why they decided to work it out this way but Virginia and Hanan were sharing a bed. The littlest of the bunch had her own bed that she was sharing with a pile of pillows and a borrowed bunny.

Here's to the many sleepovers in our future...

My youngest daughter Makayla will be 9 in June and wants to have her first sleep-over birthday party. I'm thinking grrrr all these girls all night, with little or no sleep. lol

what a sweet picture. I remember my slumber parties, no sleep, drama, dancing and FuN! However, it does make me glad to have boys.
I am glad you have fun at the play, it sounds great!

Sienna just did her first real sleepover this year, and she'll be 10 next week. I still hate sending her to them! But, I do remember how much fun I had when I was a her age so I guess it all balances itself out.

Glad you had fun at the play!
