Happy Thanksgiving!

Here's hoping you had lots of turkey and dressing. We sure did! Nana and Papa and Uncle Mike and Aunt Sharon came out to spend Thanksgiving weekend with us and to meet Baby Bria.

Thanksgiving Day could have been better for Arleigh. She couldn't eat turkey and dressing or anything else for that matter. She carried a blue bucket around with her all day. Cleaning up puke was not high on my list of the best Thanksgivings ever. We managed. She felt much better in time for the end of Black Friday. I got to be thankful for a shopping day with Nana and Aunt Sharon and Bria. Daddy watched and cleaned up on Friday morning.

I don't have pictures of our dinner table or the turkey. In fact I managed to ruin any shot we had at leftovers by leaving the ham and turkey in the oven overnight. I cleaned up and forgot that Ray had plopped them
back in the oven to keep them warm. We still had plenty of leftovers for Arleigh to have a little the next day.

The highlight of the weekend was Sailing With Santa. We got to ride on Santa's boat. We talked with him. He was a little pushy with the baby. It took us forever to get her strapped in to the Baby Bjorn in her snow suit. Santa kept insisting that I unhook her. Before it was over, I was in Santa's lap. Arleigh and Hanan asked for a Wii. Santa asked them what Bria might want in her stocking. They said that she needs a little Santa. I think I might have some brown nosers on my hands. We all got to decorate our own sailor hats. The really cool moment on the ship happened toward the end. A family of dolphins had made their way into Owls Creek. They were right by the boat. Ray got some really cool shots.

Overall, it was a great Thanksgiving. We are so thankful to have Bria added to our family. We have had a blessed year. Of course we had a wonderful visit with the Stiff side of the family.
